From the Principal's Desk
Welcome to Collinsville Middle School (CMS)!
Every student that comprises our CMS Family is a part of a select group who has the distinction of being called “Trailblazers.” Trailblazers are individuals who achieve greatness by following a unique path to success. "Trailblazers" set goals for themselves; they work hard to reach those goals; and they make wise choices in order to make the lives of others better. As each student progresses through the year, they do so with the reinforced knowledge that each student has the potential to achieve success in whatever goal(s) he/she sets and works hard to fulfill.
The teachers, the administrators, and the entire CMS staff value the opportunity to refine the skills of students and to teach them new concepts that will prepare them for the demands of the future. The CMS staff, gladly, joins the families of our students and our community in forming a partnership that will ensure our students gain the most from their educational experience at school.
CMS takes pride in reminding our students that the time spent at CMS is what they make of it. CMS encourages students to work hard, academically, but we also encourage students to get involved in the numerous sports, clubs, and extra-curricular activities we offer.
If students strive for excellence in all they do at CMS, take pride in being honest, and make wise choices, they will soon discover that the traits needed to be called a "Trailblazer" always abided within them.
GO TRAILBLAZERS!
Yours in Education,
Mr. Perry Hill, IV
CMS Principal
