My view of this class (both Intro and CP) is that this class is definitely what you want to take if you want to get into the field of electricity. The Intro is offered to all grade levels in high school. CP is offered to you as a junior or a senior. Intro is pretty much the beginning of it all...but it is still important to take because you have the experience and knowledge and you could carry it on into the CP class.
Just like every class you will take, you definitely need to know the difference between the time and the place of playing and being serious. It's fun to do the labs with your lab partner and you can kind of play around a little bit but while you play around, I suggest you also watch what you are doing during that lab because you may be tested on it. When test time comes, partners won't be there to help you...it will be up to you to do it. But other than that, it is an amazing class.
How to survive in both classes...let's see, well you should be very familiar with math. If you aren't, that doesn't mean that this class isn't for you. I personally had a problem with math and it scared me...but don't you fear, MRS. HANKINS is here!!! Like any other amazing teacher, she will help you on your math problems but there is only one of her so use sparingly! ALSO LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!! There is also "The Chief" who will help you through some of the math and then last but certainly never the least...THE ALMIGHTY TRIANGLES OF GREATNESS!!! Use those triangles...and everything should come to you easily...they do...Believe ME!!!
