Supply List

1 permanent black marker for you to put initials and names on the supplies.

1 electric pencil sharpener - it will be a great investment for many years to come.

You might want to invest in extra pencils, boxes of crayons, glue sticks, and erasers while they are cheap and on sale.  Keep extra supplies at home so that you'll have them when your child tells you they have lost or broken all of their crayons, lost their eraser or needs more pencils.  All of the other items listed should be a one time purchase.

Student Supply List

20 - #2 pencils (regular size, sharpened)

1 box of 24 ct. Crayola Crayons (I suggest you buy several boxes while they are on sale at         22 cents a box and just keep the extras at home.)

1 box of 8 ct. Crayola Crayons (buy the regular size not the big fat ones - put child's name on outside of box)

8 large glue sticks - send all of them to school with your child - I will store them and give them a new glue stick when needed.

1 pink eraser

1 box of Crayola Markers (buy the classic bold colors, with 10 markers to the box and keep the markers in their original box - put child's initials on each marker and their name on the outside of the box)

1 Crayola Water Paints - tray type with only 8 colors

1 small plastic pencil box (5"x8") - put child's name on outside of box

1 three ring  1/2 inch binder with inside pockets on each side.  (This binder will go back and forth from school to home and back to school everyday so the binder must fit in the book bag.)

2 double pocket plastic folders that fit in 3 ring binder

3 pocket page protectors for binder

1 zippered pouch that fits in 3 ring binder

1 rainy day coloring book with lots of pages for your child to color in (the thicker the better) - put name on front cover of coloring book.

1 book bag with shoulder straps - reg. size (Please avoid getting the tiny book bags as a binder and papers will need to fit inside.  Also please avoid the ones with wheels as they do not fit in the cubbies) Put child's name somewhere on the book bag.

If your child is going to use a lunch box be sure and put their name on the outside of the lunch box also.

1 Kinder Mat 18"x44" (preferably the plastic - blue and red - buy this as soon as possible as the stores will run out quickly - the purple and blues ones do not lay flat in the cubbies as they are wider) - put name on mat.

Boys:  1 large box of tissues, 1 box of gallon size Ziploc Bags and 1 box of quart size Ziploc Bags (both with Zippers)

Girls:  1 roll of paper towels , 1 bottle of hand sanitzer, and 1 package of wet wipes

We will be using the Let's Find Out Magazine in class. It is a weekly publication and cost $7.00 for the entire year's subscription.  I will send home a note telling you when I need the money so that I can send the whole class payment in at one time.
