District Kindergarten Enrollment

Enrollment will be held at the Administration Building, 201 West Clay Street, on the dates listed below for each school.  If you are not sure which school your child will be attending, please contact the district enrollment office at 346-6350 ext. 228 or 248. 

Each parent enrolling their child on their school’s enrollment date will receive a special treat to take home for the kindergarten student.

Renfro	Monday, April 3 and Tuesday, April 4, 2006	8:15 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Twin Echo	Wednesday, April 5, 2006	8:15 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Summit	Thursday, April 6, 2006	8:15 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Webster	Friday, April 7, 2006	8:15 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
All Schools	April 10 - August 14 (Monday - Friday)	8:15 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

The above enrollment schedule is for:

1.      Children entering kindergarten next year including any child previously enrolled in Pre K or Early Childhood. 
      Children must be five years old on or before September 1, 2006.

   2.  Those children entering first grade who are not presently attending kindergarten classes in the public schools.

 TO ENROLL YOUR CHILD, YOU WILL NEED TO BRING WITH YOU...
1.      Certified Birth Certificate. The certificate issued by the hospital is NOT acceptable according to Illinois State Law.
2.      Social Security Number of the child you are enrolling.
3.      Proof of residency - utility bill, current medical card, or closing papers on your house (phone bill NOT accepted). If you do not have any of these in your name, a residency check can be made to verify your residency.  This verification will also be required at registration.

 On the first day of school, your child must present a completed physical examination form with all immunizations listed as required by Collinsville Unit 10.  Your child will also be required to have a dental exam by May 15, 2006.
