READING
We will begin reading ”The Lost and Found“ this week. The reading skill is sequence of events. Students will look for phrases such as just then, a moment later, and after to help them figure out the order of events! We will take the vocabulary and Spelling test Friday and the story test the following week.

Unfinished Class-work/Homework
I have had a couple of parents ask about work in class and homework. I allow time each day for students to work on HOMEWORK…if you see that they are coming home with a lot of work…many times it is due to not using their time wisely. I remind the students about getting started so that they do not have as much work at home. I am hoping to teach them to make the right choices and keep track of their own time.

”If you see someone without a smile...give 'em yours!

With warmest regards,
